Soundtrack: "Starstruck" by the Kinks
So, the Franz Ferdinand video shoot... I was there for SEVENTEEN hours. And I'm probably like, in the background of one scene. Just like the Thrills shoot from last summer, it was half fun and interesting and half excrutiatingly boring just hanging around doing nothing for so many hours.

Here is Wade with the main dude from Franz Ferdinand who was very nice and cute and is also Scottish, which you all know is my favorite!
Raina and Agathe prepping.
They gave me a beehive! I sorta looked like an old schoolmarm and I sorta loved it.
So the plot of the video was an art gallery opening where at first everyone is uptight and then by the end everyone goes nuts and it turns into a dance party. So they had all this art stuff, like here one of the band guys is doing the Yves Klein thing of dragging around a naked girl in paint.
They also had Vanessa Beecroft-style girls.
Post-dragging.
Caroline was one of them.
These ladies were my favorite. They were so awesome. I hope I have such style when I get older (like in two years). The lady on the right, I swear to god her name is Cognac. She rules.
Here is Nick the comedian with Hari. Nick was cute, but I don't really like comedians. They make me nervous.
And after! (She had so much tape pushing her boobs together, it was insane. Every single guy there was hitting on her.)
Hari before...
They made her dress like Daisy Duke and stand around carrying a tray of fried food. Apparently there is a performance artist in London who goes to art openings and does this?
I love hanging out with the teenagers. I really wanted to buy them beers but they all have really good fake IDs so they were like, whatever.
We spent so much time eating free food and doing nothing... Agathe tried on some wigs to pass the time.
Raina
Raina makes awesome rings out of dollar bills. She made me one and it's my new favorite thing.
They made us all do this really retarded synchronized dance.
Then at the end of the art opening when everyone goes nuts, Raina and Agathe had the idea of grafitting over the gallery walls. The awesome lady from the picture above grabbed one of the cans and wrote "Raw." I love her.
One of the teenagers wrote "I'm a big jew" and a crew guy got so mad and scribbled all over it to cover it up.
And then it was all over.
This is what I looked like after I got home and took out the 500 pins that were holding my beehive hairdo together. I kinda wish my hair looked like this all the time but washing it was a nightmare.
And thus ends the thrilling account of the third music video I have ever been in.
Can't wait for the next one!
