Soundtrack: "Work It Out' - The Virgins
Ryan's birthday... He had a lovely dinner party at his house. We
ate Jamaican food and sucked down a lot of helium balloons to
make funny voices. Always a laugh riot. Then Donald and Wade
played a rare acoustic Virgins set, including a sweet "Up The
Junction" cover. Then we took all the leftover balloons and set them
free on the Manhattan Bridge. Nice nice nice. For his birthday I got
him a session in a sensory-deprivation floatation tank, because it
looked like so much fun in Shortbus. I hope he likes it! Happy
birthday to my best friend in the whole wide world. xo
