It was pretty sweet. The very first song she sang was "Carbon Monoxide," which is my favorite.
Don't tell anyone, but I got emotional.



Speaking of emotional, I just found out that Lucky Star, my one and only baby kitty who I've had
for 10 years, has developed diabetes--which is fucked up cuz I'm diabetic too. Is it contagious or
something? Anyway, I'm pretty sad and freaked out about it. I have to give her insulin shots and it's
scary. If anyone has had any experience with diabetic kitties and wants to offer me any words of
encouragement and assurance that everything's gonna be just fine, please email me. But please, only
tell me positive stuff, I can't handle any more bad news right now.

Big sigh... Anyway! Back to the fun. The other night I dropped by the Fish on a whim. Hadn't been
there in forevs. Apparently not much has changed.
